I knew motherhood would be a fulltime job but I never knew that a nap would be the most sacred thing in the world. I put Nickolas and William down for a nap at about 10 and 2. That first nap is great. They sleep for about an hour and then I let them play in the crib until lunch. That second nap on the other hand I just can’t get them to sleep more than a half hour! I seriously need these naps times for my sanity. If they don’t get the whole hour they are sooo cranky! Plus I am just running out of ideas to keep them busy. Nickolas is content for a while lying on the floor and then in the jumperoo. William since he has learned to roll is determined to make the crawling thing happen. I give it to the end of the month. He already pushes himself backwards. I said I was looking forward to them crawling and walking. I am having second thoughts. I have a feeling I am going to be holding one baby while chasing the other. This job is harder than any job I have ever had but I can honestly say the pay is more rewarding by far. As soon as we get out tax return I will be baby proofing like crazy. We have the front room set up to be the playroom so we shall see how it goes.
